POLKAMANIA! printed pattern
This is a printed paper copy of the POLKAMANIA! cowl pattern by Felicity Ford. The cowl is soft, cosy, and long enough to wrap twice around your neck. It’s worked as a tube in the round. The ends are then grafted together, and duplicate stitch is used on the last round only, to produce an illusion of seamlessness.
This printed pattern is a 12-page printed booklet including full instructions and charts (both in colour and in black and white) for knitting a cowl of your own.
The pattern also includes a tutorial for creating a similar effect with any fingering weight yarn and with your preferred colours. It has been written to empower you to create your own gradient yarn sets by selecting fingering weight yarns of the same hue, but of different values.
Through December 2018, all orders of this printed paper pattern will come with a complimentary sheet of dotty stickers plus a 10% discount code that can be used up until the end of January 2019 to buy 4ply mini skeins of Knit By Numbers Yarn from John Arbon. The stickers are supplied so you can record your progress in your favourite notebook, while the discount code enables you to knit your cowl using the same yarn as that used in the pattern at a reduced price.
